Tamar Zenith, Director

graduated in 1992 with a Bachelors of Commerce Degree from McGill University, Montréal, PQ. She returned to Calgary in June 1992 to start Newzones with her mother and business partner Helen Zenith. Tamar's business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit is the subject of several articles in such publications as the Globe and Mail, the National Post, the Calgary Herald, Avenue Magazine etc. Also, distinguished and best selling author Joanne Thomas Yaccato included Tamar in her most recent book on female entrepreneurs entitled, "Raising Your Business: A Canadian Woman's Guide to Entrepreneurship". Known for her "great taste/style", Tamar was featured as a guest contributor to the National Post's Style Section. In the realm of volunteerism, Tamar was an editorial advisor for Look West Magazine and sat on the board of Aids Calgary. Tamar was a member of the prestigious Young Entrepreneurs Organization (YEO), Chancellor's Club, University of Calgary and currently is a member o f the President's Circle (ACAD).
