Brandon grew up making and loving art in the shadow of southern Alberta’s rocky mountains. In 2010, he relocated to Utah to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Brigham Young University. Following his graduation in 2013, Brandon returned to Alberta to continue building his art practice. In 2015, he was selected to fill the Education Internship at the Southern Alberta Art Gallery, after which he moved to Calgary to pursue his Master of Fine Arts degree at the University of Calgary. He graduated in 2017 after taking part in an exchange program with the Royal College of Art in London, England.
Since moving to Calgary, Brandon has been an active member of the city’s thriving art community; in addition to serving on the Board of Directors at Emmdia Gallery and Production Society, he has also produced a number of workshops and exhibitions through other venues, including Quickdraw Animation Society, The City of Calgary, and Pop-up Gallery Society.
